Working with Fever – an international event production company, we were tasked to create video and photo content to advertise the Harry Potter event in Cheshire woods. As the producer on this, I plugged in a team of videographers and photographers to capture moments around the woods. We brought in a small cast of two groups – a family and young friends.
The event was Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience at Arley Hall, Northwich, which opened on 15 October 2022.
We shot in one evening in October 2022, two days before the trail opened. The cast were briefed from the same creative deck as the camera and stills teams so everyone was shooting the same story, and the two groups gave the edit a way to show the same forest from two points of view.
