In 2021 I was the self-shooting director on a studio advert for My Vitamins, a Hut Group brand. The project came in via advertising and creative agency Creative Spark. It was a one-day shoot at the new THG studios in South Manchester.
The brief came through in September 2021 and we shot the following month, a nine to five day with the crew called for eight so the camera was turning when the agency schedule said it would be. The one wrinkle was in post: the monitor in the end shot was a tracked screen that needed to stay while the text came off it, so My Vitamins could overlay their own translations for each market.
