I have been working with Boundary Outlet for around six years. It has been a regular collaboration for us. We’ve shot staged scenes in store, event coverage, store walkthroughs and created graphic adverts.
This advert in 2025 features content from the archive of spaces within the store. We combined that with staged moments of shoppers in the store. The advert was shot over two days in their flagship Colne shopping centre, with Boundary’s own staff as the cast.
It was made for TV and cinema together. Boundary trialled the cinema version in the Colne store’s own cinema, and the TV version ran on ITV and ITVX, with a Black Friday burst later in the year. We also cut a version for the new Newcastle store.
I produced it, and handled the Clearcast clearance and delivery to ITV. Clearcast’s questions ran from the sale messaging to whether the food in the coffee shops was really freshly prepared on site (it is).
