I grew up in East Lancashire on the edge of Burnley. Boundary Mill (not Outlet) is an East Lancs institution – it’s where you’d get your school shoes from every September.
After we had worked with Landsec on their outlet shopping TV ads, we were becoming a bit specialist in the retail space. I was over the moon when they reached out and we started working together. This was the first advert that I made with Boundary and the team, and it still stands up as a great ad.
We shot over two days in their flagship Colne store. The advert did well, and we’ve worked closely with Boundary Outlet for years after this.
